European weekend trips - change of location and meeting time!

I have been advised that because I am not part of the SU I cannot book a table to sit at within the <i> between 3pm & 5pm from Monday to Friday any longer because it is the policy of the University management not to allow ‘commercial’, non-affiliated or non-approved groups/individuals to reserve tables.

I also cannot display the information leaflets for the trips in Foster building any longer for people to pick up and read.

So during term-time until the end of May 2008, I will now be available to meet people between 3.30pm & 5pm from Monday to Friday in the cybercafe on the top floor of the library building. If I am not there at exactly 3.30pm, hang around a bit because sometimes it takes a while to find somewhere to park around the university or email me if you have a question.

If you find you have a group of 15-20 friends wanting to travel to a European location, email me and I may be able to help find a price quote and arrange the trip for your group.

Unfortunately I can longer provide the offer of the reduced Friday Odeon Preston cinema discounted entry to students, staff and their friends, due to my decision to try and run the Film Society without charging a membership fee or affiliating to the UCLan Students’ Union.

 

 

Friday Odeon Preston cinema offer

Due to negotiations taking place between the SU and the Management of the Odeon Preston cinema, I can longer offer people the £3.75 Friday Night discounted offer.

Therefore as of Friday 19 October I can no longer sell the Friday Odeon tokens, if you still have one previously purchased via the Foster Reception desk, you should be able to use them until Friday 26 October 2007 or contact the SU to get a refund of your money, as the funds have been banked with the SU Finance office.

you can use your NUS Extra card to watch a film for £4.90 or pay the £6.20 adult price.
